Description
Alcatraz key exchange boxes can be used for machine guarding, to obtain multiple access control of those that want to enter dangerous areas and to prevent them from personal injuries. These areas often have multiple access possibilities such as hatches and doors.
These access points all have to remain closed during operation. Only if all power supplies have been switched off and locked you are allowed to access your dangerous area.
The key exchange box is necessary when release of more than one key at the same time is required. The key exchange boxes are also applicable for more complex operating sequences for valve interlocking or multiple coupling and uncoupling of loading arms or hoses on discharge and loading stations. If required an adjustable time delay unit and/or switch can be installed to the cover the retention time of rotating machines.
